The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International
in the fulfillment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary's mission,
and the achievement of world understanding and peace
through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs.

The District Simplified Grants(DSG) program
was adopted by the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation to provide an opportunity
for Rotarians to use District Designated Funds (DDF) for local and international
humanitarian projects that benefit the community
and/or improve the lives of the economically disadvantaged.

District Simplified Grants will provide funding for one-time-only community service projects that
involve the active, personal participation of Rotarians.

The projects should serve as a means of enhancing the community
and /or improving the lives of the less fortunate where Rotary clubs and districts are present.
